1. About Boardgame Kallax

These prize draw competitions are operated by Boardgame Kallax, based in Waterfall City, Midrand, South Africa. By purchasing competition entry tickets, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Classification: This is a prize draw competition, not a lottery or gambling service. Entry fees contribute to prize acquisition and operational costs. No gambling license is required under South African law for competitions where participants purchase entries for a chance to win prizes.

2. Eligibility

• Participants must be 18 years or older
• Participants must provide accurate contact information (email and phone number)
• Employees of Boardgame Kallax and their immediate family members are not eligible

3. How Raffles Work

• Each ticket purchased equals one entry into the raffle draw
• Multiple tickets increase your chances of winning proportionally
• The winner is selected randomly when the countdown timer reaches zero
• The draw is conducted using a server-generated random selection algorithm
• Once the winner is selected, the decision is final and cannot be changed

4. Payment & Tickets

• All payments are processed securely through our authorized payment gateway provider
• We accept major credit/debit cards and instant EFT payments
• Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable once payment is confirmed
• You will receive email confirmation of your ticket purchase
• Tickets cannot be transferred to another person or raffle
• We reserve the right to void or adjust ticket entries obtained through technical errors, system bugs, unauthorized access, or any means other than legitimate payment
• In the event of technical issues causing incorrect ticket allocation, we will rectify entries to match actual payments received
• Payment disputes must be raised within 30 days of the transaction

4.1 Responsible Participation

• Please participate responsibly and within your means
• This is entertainment and should not be considered an investment
• If you feel you are spending more than you can afford, please stop participating
• We encourage setting personal spending limits before purchasing tickets

5. Winner Selection & Notification

• The winner is selected automatically when the draw time is reached
• Winners are notified immediately via the email address provided at purchase
• Winners will also be contacted via phone if email delivery fails
• Winner's name will be displayed publicly on the website
• If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, a new winner may be drawn

6. Prize Delivery

• Prizes will be shipped via Pudo (The Courier Guy)
• Shipping costs are included in the ticket price
• Prizes will be shipped to the address provided by the winner within 7 business days
• Winners are responsible for providing accurate delivery information
• Boardgame Kallax is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after courier handoff
• Prize condition is as described in the raffle listing (e.g., "Like New", "Sealed")

7. Raffle Modifications

• Boardgame Kallax reserves the right to cancel or postpone a raffle due to unforeseen circumstances
• If a raffle is cancelled, all ticket purchases will be fully refunded
• Draw dates may be adjusted if all tickets sell out before the scheduled date
• Changes to raffle details will be communicated to all participants via email

8. Refund Policy

• Ticket purchases are generally non-refundable
• Refunds will only be issued if a raffle is cancelled by Boardgame Kallax
• Refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method

9. Privacy & Data Protection

• We collect personal information (name, email, phone) only for raffle administration
• Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties
• Winner names may be displayed publicly for transparency

• We commit to resolving all disputes fairly and promptly within 14 business days
• For payment-related disputes, contact our payment provider's support team
• Unresolved disputes may be escalated to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (South Africa)

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Gauteng, South Africa.
